11 Lost and Found
V1 A left, forsaken, analogy, that's what I'd come to think of me. I've pondered frail to know what's right on many a worried night. I've felt abandoned, left, and lost. In a corner I felt tossed. Then a voice in my head said, "Won't you lay your weapons down?" CH If I could see your face hear your name I know I'd never be the same again. If I could feel your love hear your voice ohh - then I'd really know that I had made the right choice, amid a sea full of error. V2 When I heard you'd given me the very thing that I had seen In a vision, in a dream, it filled my heart full seven fold. It made me stop and reassess all of the ways that I've been blessed. She came like a gift sent from above that let me know I was still loved CH2 And I see your face in her face. Her smile is telling me I'll never be the same ever again. And now I hear your voice in their voice, and I can I feel your love in their love, and in their joys. © 2011 OneToMany Written after the birth of my daughter, about the same time as this picture of her - my last child of three beautiful children, whom, each in their own way, fill my heart to overflowing. |
